does anyone know the implications of this?

A few questions:

I registered in May last year and only for the past few months have been minding, so am still awaiting my first full inspection which is looming near.

I have been approached by my old firm to work for them just two days per week - so how and where will I stand re being self-employed AND employed? Can I be?

One of these days clashes with a minding day, so I will have to give that parent notice (am currently trying to source other childminders in our area who might be interested in taking this on/have capacity - so that I dont leave my parent fully in the quagmire)

Also IF I decide to leave minding, and before my first year is up since registration, do I then have to repay my 'grant' even though within that first year I have actually been minding, if you see what I mean?

As you can probably gather my mind is in a tiss - personal home reasons are forcing me back to my old firm - I need the higher income and associated 'benefits'.

help!
anyone?
thanks in advance.

makes no different having an employed job with a self employed job you just add it togetner on the tax bill (work will prob help you)

if your happy to give the child notice thats fine unless your work could give you 2 days you dont mind or mindee can swop a day

re the grant i think you may have to give money back but you can stay registered and not mind if you know what i mean

good luck

dont know about two employment kinda thing, but you will have to replay any grants as (in mine anyway) they state that if you cease trading within the firsdt year you must pay back all grants..can you not swap/alter days with work/cm'ing to make sure you can do both??
