Hi I’m new to mumsnet and I am really struggle putting my 14 month old to sleep she’s an angel during the day but at night time it’s another story I am up about 2 to 3 hours a night to the point where I have to give her an extra bottle.

sometimes I feel like a bad mum because I can’t get her to sleep and it doesn’t that I am back to work and feel like I look like a walking zombie I was just wondering if anyone had any helpful tips.

Is the issue putting her down as well or waking in the night? Does sge fall asleep herself in a cot, in arms or on a feed?

Hi she usually has a bottle at night time then she half falls asleep on me then I put her in her cot she usually goes down and just gets up once but for the last couple of weeks she just hasn’t been wanting to sleep but today I did notice an extra tooth trying to come through so I don’t know if it’s maybe teething

Hello and welcome! I have had a very similar situation with my 13mo lately, who is also teething, so I get how tough it can be....as its only been a couple of weeks I would 'wait and see' if things improve...could she be undertired or overtired though? And I wouldn't restrict her milk if that's what she's wanting...the suckling will soothe her mouth and the comfort may settle her back to sleep quicker. Are you using teething medication?
