If you start @ 10am

What time do you have coffee and or lunch break?

how long a break did you have?

I need to collect DS @ around 11.45 - 12 noon and so want to know if there will be a break around then

Thanks

PS has anyone ever seen older children at a first aid training

OBVIOUSLY sitting at the back of the room reading

DS is 12 and so too young to be at home for soooooo many hours but I don't have anyone to leave him with

Thanks

Ours is coming up soon and it starts at 9am so I'm guessing a morning break at around 10.30/11am and then lunch either 12, 12.30 or 1pm??? I would say that time you've mentioned may be too late for a break and too early for lunch but best thing to do would be phone them. I'd also phone and make sure you can bring ds with you (may have insurance issues or something??). I've certainly never seen any children on any courses I've been on but it doesn't mean they are not allowed.

Hope you sort it

I would expect a full day's course schedule to be something like:
10 am Session 1
11.30 coffee break
11.45 Session 2
13.00 Lunch
13.30 Session 3
14.45 coffee break
15.00 Final session

I don't think it at all unreasonable for your 12 you to sit and read.

If it will only take you 5-10 mins or so to collect him, I'd just let the course leader know that's what you need to do and when you need to do it.

(I think for a 10 am start 11.45-12.00 would be an unlikely time for a break - too long for a first session/too early for lunch).

Is lunch provided or do you have to bring a pack-up?

Oke doke thanks guys

His drama finishes at 11.30 but sometimes finishes late hence why we sort of reckon on it being 11,45 iyswim

It is only 5/10 minutes drive away

I will ring up when I have found who to ring
