I am finding the Ofsted website confusing, can someone help me about registering?

I am looking for a nanny at the moment, and would like to pay her (or him) with childcare vouchers. I understand there are certain requirements in terms of being registered with Ofsted and some training requirements that are needed, but I can't for the life of me find out exactly what these are and/or how to go about getting them for the person I find should they not be sorted already....

I can't find anything on the Ofsted website about how to become registered with them (maybe I am being blind...) and I can't work out anywhere about the training stuff either.

Any clues?

TIA

You need Nannynick - he knows

I'll try & remember to bump this when he's around

Hi Katymac

I have actually now found the nannytax website which answers all my questions and points me to the rather obscure correct bit of the Ofsted website!

thanks though
