Childminder/nanny needed: N1

Hi, I'm looking for a childminder or part-time nanny from mid March to look after my daughter who'll be 10 months by then. Three days a week, probably Mon, Weds & Fri, hours roughly 9.30 to 6.30pm. Can anyone recommend anyone or offer advice? Obviously I'm freaked out at the idea of my precious baby being in someone else's care... but I need to go back to work! We live in Islington/Hackney border, N1.
Thank you!

hi! dont be freaked out, itsn not that scary ,honest!!! i am a 30 year old fully qualified nanny with approx 11 years experience, can provide all certs and refs and am available to start from march! would you consider a nanny with own child for this position? he is a gorgeous, fun 20 month old!

Hope you don't think I am highjacking this thread but I am in similar position to op. Going back to work in march and ds will be 11 months old. He's currently booked into nursery tues-thurs 8.30 - 6pm. Still not sure about nursery but I am afraid I am ignorant as to the costs of cm/nannies. I am thinking nanny is far more expensive. Would be grateful of any advice regarding this as also live in N1. I would consider nanny with child.

Miriesis, have you looked at any nurseries? Can swap stories if you want to.

Hi!
I am currently a nanny who is due to start a lovely position with an adorable newborn (born late december)in N1.
I was meant to be working 40 hours a week but this has now been reduced to 25 hours a week.
I definitely want to commit to this position however I am interested in combining this with another position in N1.
I have been working with children since 1999 and have excellent sole care experience and fantastic references. I have good experience in coping with the needs of mothers leaving their little ones at home for the first time too!

does this sound of any interest to either of you? if it does, please let me know!

regards,
Chéllina
