I have asked a nieghbours 16 year old daughter to do a bit of helping out during the day every now and then. Playing with DD 16m while I get on with things (house work and a bit of work from home etc).

I won't be asking her to do any Chores, just playing and watching DD eat Lunch maybe.

I would not be out of the house.

I have no idea of what to pay. I pay my experienced Babysitter (adult Childminder) £5 per hour. Should I pay her the same? It seems a lot to me.

I live in semi rural East Anglia if that helps
