I did warn new DN that DD is very very fond of DKiwiN, whose last day it is today, but that I knew DD would have a great relationship with her too and that we were looking forward to getting to know her etc.
In print that sounds patrionising but I'm glad I did [I guess] as DD has said about three times so far [in space of 30 min], "[DKiwiN] I LOVE YA!" and jumped into her arms. She does this regularly in front of me too. At one point new DN goes: "Oh I feel bad!" as if she were splitting them up.
I think things will be fine but I am really paranoid about getting things off on the right track as we can't can't can't have any more disruption...!
HOpe I have'nt cocked it up already.
