That's a bit pushy

Mind you it's free money so you have to comply

KaySamuels · 14/01/2008 18:29

Shosh was recommendiing a marco sky - they look fab!

Depends what you need it for really. I have a good side by side, only problem with it is can't get it through my front door without folding it up.

ROSEgarden · 14/01/2008 19:38

oh i dont mind telling them what i want, like you say £200 free!, cant complain!

the only marco sky i can find are about 3120-£140 new, is that about right?
i was going to get a trampoline for the children thats all, one with safety mesh around, so might have to re consider my purchases??

Don't you need to buy your NCMA pack out of it?

ROSEgarden · 14/01/2008 19:40

anyone know any good buggy retailers then?, looked on mothercare and kiddicare but not much...have seen a 'safety first' tandem????what are we thinking on these?...the black and white one doesnt look too bad?, but what about wear and tear?

ROSEgarden · 14/01/2008 19:40

ROSEgarden · 14/01/2008 19:43

and what the diff between and pushcahir and a buggy??, i thought a buggy was cheaper but not according to M&P?

Rosie my Marco sky was £99.00 on ebay plus 14.95 postage from Germany.

so that looks about the right price.

ROSEgarden · 14/01/2008 20:07

so where can i buy tandems from new..tried babies r us, graco, cosatto, m&p, nothing really..anywhere else??

CarGirl · 14/01/2008 20:11

the graco stadium duo is good, loads of shopping/bag space easy to push for a larger tandem and about £100

ROSEgarden · 14/01/2008 20:17

yeah i think this was the one i laoned last time, nice to push and lots of space for children and storage.....

My CM had one for ages and between us we tried everything on the market she eventually switched to a jane powertwin missed the shopping space and was really too big for her car now she has got a bertini with toddler seat an built in buggy board instead for the times she has 3, she also has an inglesina triple that converts to a double.

Anyway I digress if you're going for that style tadem it is amazingly good for the price

Jackmummy · 14/01/2008 21:16

I have a graco stadium duo - I love it.
Got it for £85 new from Glasgow pram stores. Postage was free. Was a few years ago now, but may be worth looking.

ROSEgarden · 15/01/2008 12:05

right!..been to watts and they have the graco stadium duo..it IS more expensive that everywhere else but they did a discount, so am getting it for £123.75with a free raincover..its the greay black and white one, metropolitin i think?...so hopefully theyll pay for it sometime tody and i can collect sat(cant collect this week as got babies each day so would have to walk there with double already!

Thanks for all you advice girls!

Since this thread I've been looking at the Marco Sky and I WANT ONE!! It looks really good ! Sorry, I know we're past that bit now but just thought I'd tell you all
I can't by the way as I can't justify it! If I get some more work then maybe though ;)
