I am looking for a live-out nanny to look after my 7 month old girl for 2 days a week. Starting 28th Jan but I would pay from before that date to familiarise you with her routine.

Must have experience looking after babies.

Hours are 8 till 5.30 on Mondays and Wednesdays. After March 31st I will need 3 days a week. This will not be a Friday nor a weekend.

Responsibilities include;

  • Sole charge of baby
  • Feeding, changing, entertaining, and putting down for naps
  • Preparing meals for baby
  • Occasional trips to the park

-No formal housework required as we have a cleaner.

Live-out only

Attributes required include:

  • Calm, caring and LOVING
  • Fluent English
  • Good sense of humour
  • Tidy and tolerant
  • Responsible, aware, and safety conscious
-OK with cats (2 cats, brother and sister, they are out all day).

We live in a spacious comfortable end of terraced house with garden decking and nice neighbours. The nearest station is 5 min walk (norbury) and several bus routes stop nearby from Croydon or Tooting. There are also frequent trains from Victoria or London bridge. We are a friendly young professional couple of Indian origin. Our cheerful 7 month old daughter is not yet walking but enjoys trips to the park. She is responsive and girly and loves soft play. The nanny next door could accompany you to one o?clock clubs.

Some suggestions:

Try advertising on www.gumtree.com and [www.NannyJob.co.uk]] - those in my view are the biggest job sites for this market sector.

The Mumsnet main pages link to Nanny Shares as the Childcare Classified board.

Put NORBURY in the TITLE of any advert you post, plus also the number of days - so people know quickly what area you are in.
For example: NORBURY - 2 Day Per Week Live-Out Nanny Required

As you are wanting someone live-out for 2 days per week - advertise locally, local newsagents for example, local paper.

Hope that helps. Good luck in recruiting a nanny to care for your daughter.
