I only ask as I am self-employed and have been offered some work for odd weeks so need childcare very occasionally. Is it worth me asking childminders in my area?

Definitly worth asking.
I do it if I have the space available.
What area are you in?

KatyMac · 12/01/2008 21:54

I do - but then I have an odd set up

tassisssss · 12/01/2008 21:55

i managed to get a fantastic CM to fit my dd in for a day a week between now and Easter, def worth asking!

I do and am about to advertise that I do (it always depends on my circumstances). Definitely worth asking. In case you don't know, you can get a list of most childminders on childcarelink website here - some choose not to be listed online but most are on there. If you don't find anyone, you can always check out This Emergency Childcare database

thanks so much. I live in Dorset. I may have some work which involves me been away for two weeks. My mil would also help me out but I don't want to put pressure on her to have ds the whole time.

Yogi - Shosh can't load this thread so has asked me to pass on her email address as she may know someone who can help. It's nanny475 at hotmail dot com (I've done the at instead of @ and dot instead of . so she doesn't get loads of junk email!)

yogimum · 12/01/2008 22:40

brilliant, thanks, I'll e-mail her.
