I give my parents a list of my holidays in January each year so that it gives them plently of time to book their holidays of arrange cover.
I take 2 weeks in August and 1 week at a half term which I vary each year.

I don't take any time off during school time, purely for my own dd's sake and also not during the Feb or Oct half terms. So my parents generally know I'll be off either Easter, Christmas or sometime during 6 weeks in the summer. Because our holiday times are usually flexible, I tend to wait to see what my families are doing before I book time off.

I always take holiday time off but I'm not that organised so I couldn't book it for the year in January! We usually have a week off at the end of the summer and I always have Christmas off (although if I really need to work it then I would) and then odd days here and there.

i give to parents a holiday list in january for the year but tend to always have the same weeks off they just move within the school year (always off in school hols only)

i have one week at easter, 2 weeks in august and i week oct half term and 3-4 days at christmas (but with bank hols etc it works out to a wk)

i have 23 days off a year rising to 24 in april
