I THINK you don't pay tax if earnings are less than £4465. What I want to know is how to work out roughly how much tax I'll have to pay on what my earnings are for 2006/07. I've almost finished but do have a few more bit to account for but I'd like to get an idea of how much I'm likely to need.

Anyone able to help?

Yep, all work and no play... well, depends what you call play. Part of the day, I went on the steam train at Watercress Line (Alton, Hampshire) with a disabled child I care for.
