Parents...where do you look for a childminder?

I'm a brand new Childminder, still waiting for children for me to mind.

I'm just curious of where do you look for them??

I ring the local council because there's a department where if you give your email address they'll email you the registered childminders

I'm a childminder and most of my work come through word of mouth, my Facebook page and childcare.co.uk

Recommendations from family/friends

In my area there is a childminding network and they have a facebook group so parents can ask for availability. I found our childminder on childcare.co.uk

But they are like unicorn poo here (rural) so we had to use a nursery.
