Hello, does anyone have experience with either Raynes Park Bright Horizons on Spencer Rd or Butterfly Preschool on Compton Rd? Looking for my 2 year old who has been at home with me...just want somewhere nurturing and where she will learn enough to get her into a decent school. Thanks so much

What are the ‘decent schools’ wanting your dc to know before they start there? Are there really schools out there testing 4 year olds on their academics before offering them a place? That makes me so sad.
School readiness includes self care, such as using the toilet independently, Getting themselves dressed, putting on their own shoes and coat, being able to share and take turns With their peers, being able to ask for help if required, use cutlery and feed themselves, know how to look at a book independently (how to hold it, look at the pictures, turn the pages). That kind of thing. Have faith that all the things you are doing At home with your dc each day are more than enough for them to do well at school.
