Question about cleaning help in London

Could you tell me the going rate/what you pay for your cleaner in London? To do washing, ironing and cleaning but not childcare/cooking etc.

Sorry not really about nannying but couldn't find another home for it. Grateful for all responses, thank you

Am in central london so pay our cleaner £10/hr, but she has been with me for nearly 6 years and is worth her weight in gold

We pay ours £50 a week - she's usually here from maybe 9.30-1.30ish. We are in South London, and like Coolmama have had the same person for a long time, and she is fabulous, leaves the house spotless, does all the washing etc (but not ironing, although I suspect she would if we asked).

We used to pay £7-£7.50 (finding cleaners on Gumtree at that rate without difficulty) but found quality/reliability was low - so we asked around our neighbours for recommendations & ALL the recommended people were charging £10/hr (which all our neighbours said was high, but worth it).

I'm in London, got my cleaner from an agency

here and find it excellent

Hope that helps

£8 an hour, West London

£25 for 3 hours of cleaning and ironing, SW London, but quite a few people around here pay £10/hr
