Hi, i have a bit of a dilema at the moment, had a parent with baby wants to start in mar(8m in mar), says she wants me but have not heard from her in 2weeks, i have another parent coming tonight with 18m old to possibly start in asap, and a parent coming on tuesday with 1yr twins to start in mar.
should i contact first parent and let them no there place could be taken if does not get in contact soon and pay retainer? and wud ideally only like to take on 2 as i am due own baby in aug, so how do i decide who to choose, IF they all chose me?????

Hi kiddiecare, well done getting so many proespecteve parents lined up ! Its so annoying when they don't turn up.I've had that twice lately. I just console myself with the face they would probably be unreliable in other ways if they had gone with me !
I've come to end of mat leave now and still no mindees lined up ! What is gumtree ? never heard of it. What other sites are there you can register yourself on ? I am in a group and our number is in the phone book, but this puts us constantly in direct competition with each other when parents call. Also on surestart one I think.

Isn't cahm dahn more scouce? Its a bit Brookside Close, what with Barry! I say, 'awright mate, whats 'appnin?' ows it 'aggin'! Or 'oo wants a cuppa rosy then?' Actually me and Kbear say 'fancy a brew bren?' in honour of Dinner Ladies!

Be careful taking on twins (or siblings) - you lose all your income when they go

i always thing hard when taking siblings specially if they are both under 5 as if it doesnt work or they leave your buggered left with an income
