i have their ds from 8-6 enery day and ds good sleeper would mean a weekend also informing ofstead although p wants it done as a favour and she will give me a bit extra............yes you read right what about charges etc need some more perspectives.

So they want 24/7 care for 1 week?

What are your normal charges? Do you have a normal overnight charge/weekend charge/weekend night charge?

If you do then just add it up hourly.

Personally I wouldn't do it effectively for free (if that's what you mean by favour) - if she objects then just use the excuse that you need to account for income!

IF you do it I would charge double rate for both weekend days, at the very least. She's taking the wossname.

i pay £35 a day (9-5.30) and £30 for an overnight sta.

I would expect same again for overnight (maybe a fiver less) plus double for weekends

To put in perspective - proxy parenting gets me around 500 a week of 24/7
