Tax free child - not showing up!

Hi all,

We use tax free childcare and it has worked fine for the past year. I transferred in money on Friday using the same details I always have, but it is still not showing up. They say it can take up to 24 hours (usually within 2 hours), but it is still not there after around 55 hours.

Anybody else having issues?

Was it Friday night? If so I'd wait until Monday before panicking incase it's a weekend thing.

If you did it on a Friday I wouldn't expect to see it until Monday. I wouldn't stress before then.

Anything after 3pm on a Friday will not get processed until 9am the next working day at the earliest. So I would wait a while.

Hi @mumoly I am a childminder and one of my families money didn't come across yesterday even though the family have been using it for well over a year with no problems. When the mum checked for some reason the payment had been cancelled so if it hasn't come across yet maybe double check? Think it might be on a go slow as the mum checked yesterday but I still haven't received payment. They are a great family do know they are being truthful hoping it drops in tomorrow

I paid a provider from my tax free childcare but it’s not showing in transaction history but the money has been taken from account.
now I’m worried about where it’s gone.

@Hwlizxxx When did you press the button to pay your provider? If that was 3pm or later on Friday or anytime over the weekend nothing will happen.
I would check the transaction history after 9am Monday to see if it appears.

Did you pay them on the same day? Or for a later date

@Nellasmum I am the exact same! Sent money to child minder this evening and it's not on the transactions history but balance saying £0

Adding comment as the same has happened to me.
madder payment 9pm Wednesday. Knew it wouldn’t clear until Friday so set the payment to go out Monday. Logged in this evening, showing as payment and top up on transactions but the out going set request for Monday has disappeared and the balance is £0. Slightly concerned

Same issue with sending a payment to the nursery and then got an error, when I reload it the payment doesnt appear to have sent but the money taken from my account. Did it clear for everyone to the setting in the end?

Same has happened to me this week! I withdrew the money on Tuesday evening expecting it to have reached back to my account Wednesday morning but nothing so far. The transaction isn't showing on my childcare account but the cleared balance is showing as £0

Are people still having issues? I paid money in on the 30th September and it still hasn't cleared for me to pay the childminder. But it has definitely left my bank.

I rang on the 2nd and they said there was a problem and to leave it longer, but it still says I don't have enough money to pay. Now the helpline number is apparently so busy they won't even accept your call. Its been a week, what the heck do I now because I can't pay and I can't contact anyone to withdraw my money so I can pay the childminder outside the system. Which I'm loathed to do as I miss out on 20% then.

My money cleared into my bank today. I called them yesterday and they said they'd had an error on 2nd and 3rd October and it was a case of a team going through all 'stuck' transactions so hopefully yours will be sorted soon. It took a week for my money to come back through when it's usually instant
