Of you've never claimed before and you know you're telling the truth, then stop worrying! The lady on the end of the phone at the insurance company is just the same as you. She's not special and she's not god. Now you need to put in a claim for a new chair. No wait, chairs, otherwise it won't match. No wait, table as well, otherwise that won't match either!

I've finished the put that was my bedroom. God, it was bad. Bit of a dumping ground because its the only room that hasn't been done! That and the CM toys and double buggy have been stored in there since before Christmas. They're all out again now, ready for Monday.

Thanks sneaker! :P I feel a lot better about "going clean" and I've had good responses. I know need to get my numbers increased with Ofsted to keep them both!

My boss remembered my birthday , have a nice bottle to drink now on Sunday.

Went to RAF Hendon - traffic around the M25 was lovely (how often do you hear that) no holdup's at all. Got very confusing around M1 M25 junction, luckily took sat.nav. As a child I remember RAF Hendon being much bigger - mind you, I guess all places seem bigger when you are a child. Stayed about 2.5 hours, which wasn't too bad I guess - lunched in the interactive centre part.

Maureen - will school really pick up on it? Some schools are better than others, but for children at the HFA level, it can be hard to detect.
You are not qualified to diagnose Autism, and therefore you are not able to say to a child that their child is autistic. So if the parents did ask you why you had not mentioned about it you can say that you weren't in a position to pass such comments. More general comments such as - not very good at socialising with other children - could be a observation, you have mentioned to them in the past.

MaureenMLove · 04/01/2008 18:35

True enough Nick, I don't know for sure, so I can easily stand back and be supportive.

I think its highly likely that the school will pick it up, if there is a problem. My mum has been a head teacher in this borough for 30 years and knows how the whole SENCO works round here. She's no doubt that it will be flagged up, sooner rather than later.
