Childminders Circle?

KatyMac · 03/01/2008 07:44

Gee thanks guys, that would make parents really love me

I'm not sure OFSTED would like anything with 'nursery' in it

I must ring them to ask

chilminding co operative?

KatyMac · 03/01/2008 07:51

the words 'co-operative' & 'co-op' are controlled and can only be used if you are one - but that is on the right lines - I wonder if we could be a co-op, I'll do some investigating

JennaJ · 03/01/2008 08:33

How about 'childminding circle'

Katy's Childminding Group

KatyMac · 03/01/2008 18:47

Thanks chaps - I guess I was thinking in a sort of country wide policy kind of way rather than a name for us (iyswim)

Ahhh then Collective Chilminding!

KatyMac · 03/01/2008 19:12

Collective Childminding
Childminding Circle
Combined Childminding
Group Childminding
Home Nursery

I wonder if NCMA & OFSTED have a view - I must give them a ring

When choosing a name, you may also want to think about other factors, such as:

Will parents know at a glance, what service you are providing?

Is the name quite short - so not too costly to be embroidered onto workwear, and also available as a domain name?

I like Collective Childminding and Combined Childminding, though they may need a subhead to describe more fully what they actually mean.

KatyMac · 03/01/2008 19:29

Nick, I am not creating a company name i am looking for a generic description that all 'covens' of childminders can use
