my poor dh has been in bed most of the day with flu i had to make the dinner first time ever in 12yrs but everybody said it was lovely (proud emotion)

dh got me an apple and an orange (an i pod and a new phone)

Merry Christmas DMO!

Poor dh! Kbears dh has been in bed all day too, bit of a downer for her, she had to cancel all the relitives comeing round.

I got some perfume from dd and from dh. Some bath stuff, Richard Hammond book, bottle of rather lovely looking Chateauneuf-du-Pape and my mother bought me a Star!

I'm not sure what I've got to do with it yet! I need to register it or something. Shall I call it Maureen? How funny would that be? The star of Maureen!

DH got a plot of land in the Highlands of Scotland from her! He is now a laird! He's thrilled and plans to shout 'get off my land' in a sort of west country accent at every given moment!

my brother got my boys one year a plot of land in the rainforest and the boys when wanted to know when he was taking them to visit it lol

Im getting the hump with the star chart actually! Its not the easiest thing to follow! You'd think they'd have the sense to put a little arrow on the flaming star chart to make it easier for those that aren't bloody Patrick Moore!

DH's gift however, is slightly easier to find! Its only a couple of hours drive from Glen Coe, where we stay every couple of years and he's having a Sat Nav for his birthday next week!

BTW, she bought my DB a plot of land on the moon, about 3 acres to be precise!

i got a lovely new phone from dp but almost better than that - a GORGEOUS leather high backed computor chair

got me a gorilla! adopted, v lovely gifty from sister (we saw then at bronx zoo last oct, v cool) also big box of lindt. cant find them... must have left them over here... dunno where they've ended up!

mmmm turkey sandwich for breakfast today.

2 days till birthday! more gifts! I've asked for a laptop bag and itunes card from parents, woo!

On the day I got a calendar (cute one), selection box (buba likes chocolate ) and a little digital keyring from dh (we had no money til Christmas eve and he looked sooooo knackered on the day, I told him to leave it and give me the money to buy pressies instead). Also got perfume for BIL and his wife and SIL made us a lovely mosiac number for our house (she does this for a living and it's lovely).

Today I've been to mothercare and got lots of maternity tops in the sales with my £60 cash from dh .

Ds did very well and he'll be getting even more tomorrow from Nana & Papa, my bro and sis as we're all going up to Lincoln to stay at my parents for a few days. We only do presents for the kids in my family so they end up a bit spoilt!!

from Mindee's - fab mascara and eyeshadow(in MY colours too!), choc santa personailsed from thorntons, bottle of bubbly, choc and cream scented candle, celebrations.

from friends - fondu set with huuge bar of choc and marshmallows ready to go, bottle of zinfandel(whicb dd polished off!)

From mum - betty boop.....pyjamas, glass with glass bottle of coca cola, socks, beautiful large figurine, choclates...yes i like betty boop! , 4 necklaces(dress jewlerry), gorgeous cream cosy robe, name that tune dvd and a beautiful canvas in black and white off dd when she was a tot

From dd and dp - armani watch, two lots of my fave perfumes sets, amy whinehouse back to black cd, bety boop gorgeous bag, betty boop films on dvd, socks(with coloured toes so i stop pinching dp's and dont get them mixed up, and a dish washer after the chrismtas lunch..and we booked a summer hol on Christmas eve, eve

was totally blown away actually, didnt expect half of that, mum's were especially thoughtful and sentimental, so am very fgrin] and feel very lucky!

my dd also got lots, an obcene amount realyl!, from us, my mum, friends other famly!...we are still opening things today!, dont know where its all going to go on the 3rd!

And here's my new name...dont like being Christmassy when the actual events over(have even took decs down in playrrom today and allcards down!)..ill try and stick to ROSe something from now on so you know who i am
