We are looking for a nanny/child carer for our two daughters aged 3 (soon to be 4!) and 2. Our older daughter goes to a nearby nursery (5 min walk from home) from 9-12pm, and younger daughter is at home. The hours required are 9 am to 5 pm. Someone who is warm, trustworthy, efficient and engages well with children in interactive play is our ideal person. Responsibilities include picking up older daughter from nursery, giving the children lunch, taking care of the children's belongings (toys, clothes, etc.) and playing with and engaging with them in an enthusiastic manner. Occassional cooking for the children and general house care are also included (tidying up, laundry). We would prefer someone who speaks Urdu as our children are bi-lingual and we really want to keep up their Urdu. However, this is not essential. Driving is also a preference (our current nanny who is pregnant and needs to leave drives our car). We live a 10 min walk from Queensbury Station on the Jubilee Line.
9 am to 5 pm care is required during term time. During school holidays the hours and requirements are more flexible. (I, their mother, am a teacher so get time off during school holidays.)
