Morning all, I have lovely hot sausage rolls on the go, made about 150 last night now on more for DH birthday party later!

Easy day today as mindee2 ill and mindee 1 at nursey until 11.30, am going to marzipan xmas ckes this morning and prepare for DD 13th birthday sleepover for tomorrow then spend the afternoon making angels with mindee

wish the A would work fulltime and not part-time!

Morning, felt like midnight when I got up this morning. This time of year is so difficult.

It's my daughters second birthday today but we are pretending it's Sunday as the husband is away all day, I have my Unit 4 course to go to tomorrow so Sunday it is!

Arggggggggggggggg, SchoolieMindee3 waled in and promptly threww up!!!! Mum did a teurn around and took her home, and she was going to her country dancing party after school!

Plenty of sausage rolls and sausages, pineapple and cheese on sticks, crisps etc here. Have to make all the rolls later once mindee has gone to his nans at lunchtime. I wasn't going to work today but toddlers have decided to have their party, so thought I had better go. DH is the big 50 today so now have brthday decorations up with the xmas ones!!
Someone please come and rescue me later.

Thanks for everyone who wished my happy birthday yesterday only just caught up with it all!

I did have a lovely day, did go to bed in the afternoon but every time i dropped off the door went, 4 times in total! But the meal was lovely and all my presents were fab, got loads of flowers, chocs, smelly stuff, lovely bracelet and £140!!! And a letter off the inland rev saying they are going to start paying us £25 a wk (not had anything off them for a few years!) I worked out our finacnes though and even with them doing that and me taking on 2 pt babies I will still be losing a lot of money when my ft'er goes, I really really hope I can replace him soon

I don't know what to do with my birthday money, should I spend it on myself (all my socks have holes in so need some socks and I'm going out tomorrow night and have nothing to wear, I only own 1 pair of jeans that fit and aren't broken and only have 3 jumpers!) BUT I just feel so guilty about spendng money on myself when we are so skint and it's because my business isnt working out as i'd hoped. Dp said I should at least give some of my money to pay for our night out tomorrow and the meal we went for last night and I guess he is right really, we have way over spent on my birthday his present for me was £60 for massages and a facial and then more money for my nails manicured and eyebrows waxed!

LMG - glad you had a nice birthday At least buy yourself some noew socks love, I am exactly the same clothes wise and money wise (even down to IR and mindee leaving), but you have to get youreslf some clothes!! I took my own advice the other week and got two pairs of jeans and bought some wellies this week as my shoes all had holes in! Matched my socks tho![GRIN]

crace - I struggle getting up in winter too, especally for early mindees - roll on summer i say!

Morning all! Bit late this morning, I got a bit busy sorting out the art boxes. They've been used twice as much in the last few weeks, for Christmas stuff, so they needed straightening out again. All done now and I'm starting to put things away til the new year! I'm planning on doing either baking or parties next week, so arts & crafts are off!

Did I mention my baubles yet? They look fab. I've hung loads of them on the ceiling where dh knocked the wall down from house to extension iyswim. They really look fab. I can't do a show and tell atm, because Kbear has got my camera! I'll get it off her tonight.

Just the one mindee on a Friday now, nextdoor neighbours 2 yr old, so its so, so easy. I really don't need to make much of an effort tbh! It also means, that we can be a little bit easier with rules. I.e. he's sitting on Eeyores lap in his office atm, playing some flying game on the PC with him! I'm hoovering downstairs and then we are going to make snowmen.

I'm off to toddlers xmas party now, see you all at lunchtime.

HI All, hope that colds not catching!..got 2 mindees this morn, one this afty and a visit(fingers crossed!) and then 6 after school(inc LO i have now)...rying to print off some santa/snowmaen pics pic enough for little hands to colour in and put our new balamory esque weather chart up, only \£1.50 from library!

oha nd happy birthday mr mo and lmg, i know you say/your dh says you should give some of you bday money toward meal but , if he didnt want to go fo meal/buy massage etc, he shouldnt have bought it, you wernt expecting £140, so the other money WAS coming from somwhere?..but, you know best, i would prob put suamt owards it too, but makke sure you DO spend something on yourlsef, bugger the socks, get something nice to wear for you meal

Right, off for some toast as not had breaky this morning. I know, I know but I was down the hospital after school to check on baby after my fall on Tuesday. Heard the heartbeat for the first time so feel reassured. They took blood because I'm RHNeg and fell after 12 weeks so they need to check baby's blood hadn't mixed with mine and if it has, rush me off for an Anti D on Monday. Everything else good. Fed up with dh though, he's gone from Mr Positive for Mr Grumps (understand why but it's hard work!) because he's had no luck with a job and time is running out. The young ones at work have new jobs lined up and he feels it's his age against him again (he always has trouble getting work and this is his 4th time being made redundant )

Anyway, if anyone gets bored....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me some idea's for wording of my notice letter to parents of the 2 sisters - I've no idea where to start and it's well stressing me out!!!

Got baby again today. She's gorgeous and just falls asleep on me. Thanks guys - you gave me the confidence to take one on.

But I keep getting rejected by parents who want to put their baby in a nursery. Argh.

Back from xmas party I am now going to sit down with a nice coffee before having a shower. Then I had better wake DH so he can help make the rolls up, how long can I make the school run last to collect DD

Hi all doesnt feel like christmas yet, still not trimmed up here, I've brightned me room with a santa but odd for kiddies.... oh well, two interviews today, one here in st margarets so a quick walk other in Wimbledon so miles away. Anyone in wimbledon? is it nice?

Well my peacefull morning went something like this: wrapped xmas pressies, wrapped DD birthday pressies, marzipanned xmas cakes, did a load of washing, dried a load of washing and finally did some paperwork.

Now mindee is helping me to put stamps on xmas cards before we make angels and also. hopefully the plumbers will turn up at last(having tried what seems like the entire population in the yellowpages, not one bothered to turn up!

Just nipping in for a sec as got to give baby bottle. Just wanted to say a MASSIVE THANKS to SS for drafting a fab letter for me!!!!
