CMs - Who do I call to check who's claiming childcare allowance through me??

I just want to check that only the parent of the child I'm minding is claiming child care through tax credits in my name. I know I shouldn't be, but I'm a little suspicious of one parent who has recently left with her children and don't want it to come back and bite me in the future!

Anyone got a numer I can call? What details do I need to have?

I dont know who you should call, I dont think there is anyone, which is stupid cos I got a call from IR about a month ago, asking if I still looked after a child who left 3 Years ago and was still claiming in my name. I cant see why there is not a website, that we can sign into and declare when a child leaves, wouldn't it stop a lot of the fraud.

(by the way the parents were claiming full childcare allowance, while not working, in my name.)

That's what I suspect this parent is doing. For someone who is so determied to get a job, especially at the Xmas period, she doesn't seem to be having much luck. And then the kids turn up at the school in brand new coats, a new buggy, etc.... I might have it all wrong, but like I said, it'll come back to bite me if I don't check and I can't stand benefit fraudsters!

I'm thinking the same about a child who left me a month ago, i called tax credits and they said you an call the fraud helpline or do it online and they'll look into it, not much help but its all they can do, they can't give out details to us www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/BenefitsTaxCreditsAndOtherSupport/BenefitFraud/DG_10014876
