Can anyone recommend a card that a nanny can use for London public transport, groups and other expenses that an employer can load with funds? Preferably with no/minimal fee?

Have a look at a Revolut card. You can add funds via an app. Ask on FB if any of your friends have one as they quite often have offers if you recommend a friend so you both get money.

Or Monzo - similar sort of thing. Both ideal for what you are looking for.

Thanks! Defo will do.

I looked at Carercard but the monthly cost was off-putting.
