The local sports club creche has closed due to lack of children

Tho' they occasionally have children wanting care

Is there someway to make a deal whereby they reccomend me for short-term care & I give then a kickback?

What would I do if the parent then wanted more F/T care after using me - would I still offer a kickback (seems odd to me)

Am I going about this wrong?

What do you think?

Could they not just have a noticeboard or something similar, whereby they accept ads by childcare providers (for free, or low cost)? That way, they would not be recommending directly, just providing local information.

Could they just have some of your brochures available (eg. reception deck / info file). Then if someone asks staff about childcare, they can look at the info file and give out a brochure.

Have you talked with the sports centre manager at this point? Are they wanting some kind of payment deal? Initially, you could send the manager a handful of brochures, plus an introductory letter. Never know, they may just put the brochures out and not ask you for any payment.

As i see it its win win all round already, they have customers who need childcare so they can use the facilities but the sports club cannot accomodate the children but you can so you get the children and they get the adults and you both get paid, the children get to have fun while their parents get some excerise/ me time. win win!

They know me (they sold me all the toys from the creche)

They are quite money-thinking

I might do the brochure thing anyway & see what they say

tbh if they DONT provide child care any more, i dont think it would harm them to recomend you for a fee to advertise and nothing else!

I guess so - I'll see if they want some cards/brochures
