If a parent wanted 8.15 to 5.15 (9 hrs) would you charge:

A) 9 hours
B) From 8-6 i.e. 10 hours

not a childminder but would charge 9 hours as it is 9 hours

I'd add an extra 15 mins either side to give them room to be "late" eg. in case they ever are late (travelling, etc.)
I'd charge 8-5.30

say you don't deal in 15 mins it's half ot full hours with a late charge if half hour late or more

A, but tell them it will be reviewed if they start to drop off early or collect late.

Well not to worry I charge £10 if they're late!

I charge by the 1/4 hour so for me it would be 9 hours.

same as ssd, i was advised to charge by the hour but i charge half hourly, 10-15 min bitty bits make it too messy!
