Husband/partners as assistants

I am thinking of my partner as my assistant does he need to do icp and first aid? anything else i need to consider

If you want to be able to leave him in sole charge of mindees for up to 2 hours (or more if parents sign to agree this) then he needs to be registered - CM2 form and CRB check through Ofsted, could go whole hog and do icp and first aid etc, then he'd be a childminder in own right! Think I'm right in saying having an assistant doesn't automatically double the amount of mindees you can have. Hope this helps, am sure others on here will correct/add to this too!!

Because he lives with me has he not already filled out CM2 form and had CRB done. I can't remeber what forms i filled out for him when i gor registered

He will have had CRB but not CM2
