Just had phone call from Jigsaw??? they said they had permission from government to contact me and others to do a survey about what's going to be happening next year - she said is this ok? Baby had just woken from nap and I needed to get her so I asked how long would it take. She said 6/7 mins and I said I can't leave baby that long so she asked when would be convenient so I said anytime after 6pm - this was too late. I said sorry but I have to put the mindees first (of course) but I did want my say and wish I'd asked for a number .

What would you have done?

I would not be happy about the goverment giving out my number, are they allowed????? Data Protection and all that?

Will be intresting to see if others get the same call, if they phone back, ask name, phone number and anumber you can have to confirm she is who she says she is.

Good point but I get a lot of 'cold calls' due to me being on the web etc. so presumed she'd got my number from that. It sounded like some kind of call centre but I must say, I wasn't happy about the tone when I explained about the children's needs coming first and that after 6pm would be the best time!!

i'm in the same area as looney and not had any phonecall yet. Same as shos didn't think the government would give nos out. sure it's not another trick from ofsted??

Could well be - I wouldn't put anything past them! If it was them.....I said the right things then i.e. "baby can't wait to get up from her nap and have bottle, I'm in and out on school runs plus my priority is the children and I can't possibly do a survey whilst I'm childminding - surely you can understand that!"
