How about a Wispa? Had one the other day and wondered how I'd got all the way through my 20s and part way through my 30s without them.

Morning all.

shoshalite · 08/11/2007 07:32

Intravenous please, I only slept 3.5 hours last night, have a horrible cold, which has set the Fibromyalgia off, and just couldnt sleep!

crace · 08/11/2007 08:08

Popping in after a long time away, sorry. Just returned from a 2weeker in Malaysia en familie which was frankly exhausting but great fun. Came back with worst head cold ever as payment for time off. What joys.

Still have my 2 full timers under 5 and they are keeping me busy.

Here is the biggest news, am pregnant again, almost 11 weeks this time. Scan in 11 days but if I can go by how awful I feel, I think things are ok - we shall see.

Hope all are well, will try and pop on more. It takes all I have to work these days to be honest, energy isn't fab

mumlove · 08/11/2007 08:09

I've still got my cold hanging around to.
Waiting for mindees to arrive, they will probably all come at the same time just before I leave for school!!

MaureenMLove · 08/11/2007 08:16

Hey crace! Lovely news. Thats two comfy chairs we need now, Looney's pg too!

I'm very tired too, I got up again at 11.30 last night, because my head just won't shut down. Sadly it did shut down eventually and didn't wake up again until 7.20! Cue crazy woman and crazy dd running round in circles not knowing what to do first! She was sat eating porridge whilst I dried her hair and answering the door to mindee! Lucky its only a schoolie today, so he just got himself some juice and plonked himself in front of the TV!

Got loads to do today, so I catcha later. Looneys just switched her pc on, so she'll be in in a minute! (I know, because she's signed into MSN!)

eleanorsmum · 08/11/2007 08:20

off to a road saftey day at the new childrens centre today. got invited at the drop in yest, so am looking forwards to it. only got dd and friends lo again as still no certificate in the post......................................i hate royal mail! well not really but it is frustarting!

Katymac · 08/11/2007 08:27

Morning all

Congratulations Crace, sorry about the cold tho'

You too Shosh & Mumlove - take ecinacia (or however you spell it)

looneytune · 08/11/2007 09:16

Morning all

Kay - you're a tease!!! I'm soooo tired every bloomin day atm and I'm off caffine aren't I!! I would give you the cakes I had yesterday to help with your energy but I'm afraid I ate them all myself! - yes, 2 big choc eclairs and another cream cake!!

Strawbs - you'd never had a whisper before?!

Shosh - {{{hugs}}}

Crace - Congrats When are you due? Come and join our Anti Natal thread! I'm only 7+5 atm and can't wait to get to the 12 week mark to make me feel a bit better about it (long story but was convinced I'd lost it recently but scan showed all ok and as I'm so tired now and hungry, I THINK that's a good sign - odd bit of feeling queezy but nothing major)

Mumlove - hope they turned up on time. I left without double pay baby today and good job I did - mum texted saying SO SORRY but they'd just woken up and baby was STILL asleep - this was at 8.45am and she normally gets up at 7am!!

Mo - I always log on to everything when I put laptop on but I rarely get the time to come on before the school run (coz I keep getting up too late....zzzzzzzzzzz)

EM - enjoy

Well, I'm off to toddler group once baby arrives and I've sorted all her stuff (she's staying again tonight)

Pretty please would some of you give me some advice on this thread, maybe Crace would be a good one to help? I'm using a different name just in case

looneytune · 08/11/2007 09:16

oops - Katy - hello

BoysAreLikeDogs · 08/11/2007 09:26

Morning all

crace - what great news !

Waiting for only mindee today then off to Music Group, then PTA (PITA!) meeting after lunch.

Luckily mindee's parents dont mind and it's only once per half-term.

Ju

MaureenMLove · 08/11/2007 10:34

Time for a coffee break I think!. No kids for me until after school, but much to do! Having a party on Saturday, well it was supposed to be a little gathering, but I've realised I've got 18 adults and abut 16 kids I think! Done the food shop already this morning, dishwasher cleaning glasses and fridge defrosting as we speak. Now, the only mistery I have is where the hell have all my best towels gone! I did have six, but I can only find 3! I expect they're hidden in a corner of dd's bedroom!

crace · 08/11/2007 10:35

It is encouraging feeling rough, but it's sooo tiring and I just don't have the energy for this job! Getting through it but it's just hard, and having to fake it for the kids sake. It's my 3rd baby so am finding it particularly hard on the old body.

Hi to everyone!

crace · 08/11/2007 10:35

MML - I have the same issue, they are hiding with the socks me thinks

looneytune · 08/11/2007 12:26

Flying visit.....thanks for replies on my thread....Missinvisable - please, please, please change your name back to PinkChick - I much prefer that name!!!

Mo - you're a mad woman!!!!

Crace - tell me about it, I'm not as far gone as you but I could sleep from 3pm every single day and I'm finding it very hard work - I was never this tired with ds!!

Must go, sausage rolls in oven and I need to leave in 5 mins to get ds from lunch club - need to scoff food first!!!

shoshalite · 08/11/2007 12:43

Hi not been in as been trying to get hold of SIL, DB is in Afgahn on the Nimrods, (see Forces Sweethearts) Dad is beside himself and I cant reach her.

looneytune · 08/11/2007 13:12

Oh Shosh, how awful, not surprised you're all worried sick Thinking of you and hope to god you hear something soon!!! Please let us know!! {{{ hugs }}} xxx

MaureenMLove · 08/11/2007 13:30

Outrageous, completely outrageous. I hope you've had contact of some sort Shosh.

LoveMyGirls · 08/11/2007 13:32

I feel awful, my head hurts and some days the stress is too much . Just going to catch up on what you lot have been up to!

StrawberryMartini · 08/11/2007 13:42

May I repeat a conversation I had with mindee this morning to cheer you up?

He came out of nursery with an interesting thing made out of card, plasticine and a lollipop stick.

Me: What's that then?
Him: It's a map
Me: What's a map?
Him: It tells you how to get somewhere
Me: Where?
Him: You have to guess

(Me: Few guesses including the obvious home, school etc)

Him: I'll give you a clue you have to fly to get there.
Me: What letter does it start with?
Him: 'O'
Me: Australia? (Don't flame me I did explain that it began with an 'A' but sounded like 'O'
Him: No it begins with 'Ox'
Me: Is it a hot country or a cold country?
Him: A hot country, and it's got lots of flats
Me: ??????
Him: It's got two words the first word is Ox and the second word begins with an 'L'
Me: (Cue me with lots of stupid made-up suggestions)
Me: You'll have to tell me I don't know!
Him: SCOTLAND!!

Of COURSE!!!

MaureenMLove · 08/11/2007 13:43

Any sight of a couple of days off LMGs? You sound like you need to recharge your batteries. I just had to collect dd from school, because she's got a screaming headache. She's stripped off and gone straight to bed, so she must be rough.

MaureenMLove · 08/11/2007 13:47

Fabulous SM! Somewhere, in amongst all that he's almost got the sound right too! I suppose the 'x' sound is reasonably similar to 'sc'! Very good. Although, I'm not quite getting the 'very hot' bit!

LoveMyGirls · 08/11/2007 13:57

Crace - FAB NEWS!!!!!!

Shosha - Hope you hear something soon!

MML - It's nearly the weekend i'll get a lie in one of the days but i feel I could sleep for days atm! Db has offered to babysit sat night (not that im in the mood to go out but might do me good) I feel exhausted all the time, mindee's mum is causing me stress dont want to go into it on here but its basically a major headache and i'm feeling the stress and fustration by the lack of support, my head hurts constantly, i've got mouth ulcers and I'm tired all the time. Dp has said he will take dd's out on sunday to give me a break and chance to catch up on the cleaning thanks i think The housework is getting on top of me if i'm honest as well as paperwork, I need to do my accounts too i just donm't seem to have the energy or time to dedicate to it. Dd2's and Mindee's behaviour is sapping me of everything i've got to give at the moment. Mindee's behaviour has been up and down all the time i've had him and dd2 has played me up at naptime for the past 3-4wks, it's drainging but I can't let her give it up or she is hell all afternoon. I keep telling myself it won't last forever.

MaureenMLove · 08/11/2007 14:03

No, it won't last forever. I truely believe the more effort you put in, in the first 4 years of a childs life, the easier it is after that. Being a mum is hard enough, without the added pressure of work, our work in particular! Maybe a bit of adult only company on Saturday night, is just what you need. One day, you'll look back and only see the good things - promise!

LoveMyGirls · 08/11/2007 14:08

If it was just the mindee or just dd it wouldn't be so hard.

Part of me feels that giving notice would solve lots of things and I would be less stressed otoh I'd be more stressed without money to live on and also would feel i'd let mindee down.
