Have registered end of last year and joined NCMA and got my liability insurance.
I've advertised everywhere and couldn't find any children. Now I've found myself another job.
The thing is I don't want to resign my registration, incase in the future I want to start again and don't want to go through everything again to register.

My question: Can I put it on hold? and not pay the registration fee.

Or, if I must pay registration fee to keep registered, can I just leave the liability insurance and get it again when starting to mind again.

I don't know about insurance but you DO have to keep paying OFSTED the £14 (or whatever) a year to keep yourself registered as a childminder. As for NCMA membership, you won't have to keep paying that as you don't HAVE to be a member anyway.
