I am looking for a cm, have looked on the web but not really found one near me. I don't know many people with children so am out of the parent loop for recommendations.

Any one is / know of a good cm in my area? Would be very grateful!

I'm not sure either - my DD attends nursery in Kennington (southwark side).

The one o'clock clubs round here seem to attract lots of CMs, and there are some who go to the library 0-5 session we go to - but these groups are in Camberwell. Could you try these sessions?

ImBarryScott · 07/11/2007 12:37

the ones in your area, that is !

thanks for the link and 1-oclock club tip. I will try those. I am too used to the internet doing all the work for me

Hi a bit late to this, but you should have a local childcare information service that can give you a list of local childminders with vacancies. Not all CMs want their details on the internet so will be on the list only

You can also get a great list of things to ask/consider from here www.bromleycma.org.uk look in the parents section
