What’s changed your mind? It’s generally good for them and gives them confidence. Mine went for a half day once a week and loved it, so I ended up putting her in 3 short days instead of our parents having her (they’re getting on a bit so loved it but found it very draining in the end!)

Every mum has last minute doubts I did and I was leaving my son with my sister. Is it that or more?

Have you got a childminder lined up? If you have, are you confident in their abilities? If not, do you think that speaking to a childminder and getting to know them would help to reassure you that your daughter would be well cared for?

It can be really hard for parents to leave their child, especially at the moment, with all the restrictions going on, but if you find the right setting for your dd, I’m sure they will be really happy there.

Are you going back to work? Or can you keep your dd at home for now? If you are unconfident in leaving her and don’t have to go back to work, you can leave childcare until she is a little older and the restrictions have lifted a bit if that would make it easier for you.
