My DS doesn't want to leave CM when I pick him up!

Hooray! I posted a few weeks ago about concerns I had about CM - I was going to look for a new CM but with work being hectic haven't had the time to set up any meetings. But today, for the first time, my DS said: I want to stay at Debbie's house, when I picked him up. Now I know a lot of parents might feel jealous but I am so relieved I cannot tell you! Feel like he has finally settled in at last, and she has been really good about addressing my concerns, after a bumpy two months or so - just thought I'd share the good news!

Thats really nice too hear, I remember your thread but I didn't post on it. As a childminder it's actually nice when a child doesn't want to leave (well I think so anyway)as it means that we're doing everything right and the child is enjoying themselves.

Thats brilliant ! As a CM myself, there is no greater praise or reward as a child saying they don't want to leave ! It must really reassure parents about their CM to hear it.
