Thanks to everyone who took the time to post their comments on my other thread, very much appreciated
Most of you will be aware that I was contacted by a BBC London News reporter who is VERY keen on getting our story out there and to help us with OFSTED. They wanted me to appear on the TV on Friday last week but I've got personal medical stuff going on which only started last week and I'm not feeling up to this right now. I have therefore been looking for volunteers to step in and talk about some of the stuff mentioned in our thread. It's not expected for you to talk on behalf of all childminders or anything like that, just to talk about how you feel about OFSTED and the amount of paperwork, observations etc that are expected and things like how crazy the inspections can be. The idea was to have an interview with me at home, parents in parks talked to to get feedback and then I think they were trying to get someone from OFSTED in the studio. I've told her I will still do this if no-one steps forward but tbh, I don't know when I'll be emotionally ready for this, it all depends (can't go into on here).
The BBC reporter has just called me again. Soooo, any volunteers to step in??? This is an opportunity not to be missed, it could really help us get through to OFSTED! We need a childminder in the South East/London sort of area.
ANYONE???
TIA
