My dd has recently become OBSESSED with Peppa Pig, that squeaky, communist swine voice is driving me crazy! She's becoming more and more bossy, rude, and emotionally abusive. She always says that she doesn't want me to kiss her goodnight only daddy, because she is angry with me over my dislike to this T.V. show. Peppa Pig is ruining my life! Also whenever I bring friends round they end up watching it too!! . SOS

I say no to programmes I dont like it soon gets accepted if you dont let them watch it....the I want daddy is a normal stage she would say that for any excuse so dont feel bad.

Has Peppa seized the means of production? The only person you ever see working in Peppa is Miss Rabbit.

There will always be programmes/ other children at school that will influence our children in ways we disagree. We need to teach them to not copy bad behaviour/what bad behaviour is. We can't switch off other children we may not like at school.

Where are you that friends are allowed round to watch tv anyway??

I agree that peppa pig is a spoilt little brat however if any form of TV is having a negative impact on a child ( especially one young enough to watch peppa pig) then turn it off.

Lolz at you putting this under childcare options. Peppa is awful and I banned it with my first then got sucked in all over again with DD2. Also intrigued by her communist leanings? I just think she’s a brat and the crap attempts at reverse sex stereotyping do not work well.

I'd recommend staying well away from Bing if you have such strong feelings about Peppa

I don’t like pepper pig either she is a brat. If you have Disney+ put on Bluey it’s a lovely little cartoon for preschoolers

We live Peppa Pig here, maybe we're all brats. It makes us laugh. My DD is bossy and rude but I'm almost certain that's because she's 2.5...

I love Peppa Pig as a programme! Peppa is a bit bossy and annoying, but I have a 3 year old, who is just like her. I don't like how mean they are to Daddy Pig, but he often brings it on himself by bigging himself up so much! I feel each and ever eye roll Mummy pig! I also laugh at every episode: my favourites episodes are the Australia episode with the boomerang and Grammy Rabbit and the cheese! Honestly, give it a bit of time.

My favourite PP episode is the countries of the world one. Germany is playing hopscotch. Japan and America are playing in the sandpit. France is on the swing with Italy.

Every time I watch Bing (which is, sadly, multiple times a day at the moment), I notice something else that annoys me. Today it was the fact that when they cross the road, they had to wait for the 'green bunny' at the crossing but there are all sorts of different animals crossing the road. Why do they just have traffic lights for bunnies?

Actually I do fucking hate Bing.
