Tax free childcare

Hi there,
I have messed up a bank transfer that I attempted to make from my bank account to my tax free childcare account. The bank details are the same for anyone transferring money to their childcare account but you are supposed to include your unique childcare reference number in the ‘reference’ box when making the bank transfer.
I messed this up and duplicated the account number as the reference number too. Will this bounce back as they won’t know which childcare account to link this to? I will call them tomorrow but wondered if anyone else had this situation?

I’ve done the same! How did it get resolved? Can you remember how long it took to get the funds back?

Please help by removing the £2000p/a CAP on tax free childcare so that it is more reflective of 20% of annual childcare. I live in Surrey and full time childcare in my area is £21k p/a per child. The current £2k CAP is only 9.5% of this.

I really appreciate this government support but removing the CAP so that we get the full 20% tax free would really help families, women especially go back to work.
