ring/text/email mum explain you have a long awaited hosp/doc app and its fri morn 9am, say it is not TOO personal so you can still have her dd no problems, but could she drop her off at x time instead of y time at no extra cost to her..shell be fine! and glad theyve given you hope!.x

Oh bugga, I don't usually have before schoolies atm and forgot next week my pre-schooler is here every morning and I'm dropping off at school. I planned to get someone (hopefully) to take ds to school but only just remember about mindee. What on earth do I tell her dad? He needs me because mindee's mum is away on business next week and she usually does drop off. I know I have to tell him and he'll have to take her or something but how do I explain the let down??? Of all weeks eh!

Dh is fuming mad......told work he needed to book next Friday morning off work (got annual leave) and they said 'we'll talk about it next week....too many people are off' and when dh left work he said again 'I MUST be at this scan next week' and she just said 'look, we'll see next week'
