30hrs free childcare while on Universal credit

Wondering if you can help

Im currently a single parent working full time with help from UC.

My UC payments include 85% of my childcare costs

My son is now 3.

The nursery has told me to claim my 30hrs free childcare before end of Dec and I'm not sure if I'm entitled to it it how this will work..Thank you

Yes you will be entitled. Your UC may reduce though, as your childcare costs will too.
