We don’t recommend Royal Nannies agency (https://www.royalnannies.co.uk) based on our experience.
We clearly communicated our requirements for a highly experienced nanny (minimum 10 years of experience, with a background in UHNW or Royal families). However, the candidates presented didn’t meet the agreed criteria. Many had limited or non-relevant experience (e.g., vocal teachers, PR assistants), which is far from the level expected for such a role. The overall quality of candidates doesn’t justify the salaries being requested.
Despite paying significant fees, the process was disappointing and did not deliver the level of service expected.
Communication became difficult once concerns were raised.
The contract is structured in a way that strongly protects the agency: fees are non-refundable, and there is little flexibility or willingness to find a fair resolution.
Overall, “Royal” appears to be just a name - the agency doesn’t provide candidates at a truly high or exclusive level.
Families looking for genuinely qualified, experienced nannies may want to consider other agencies.
Unfortunately, this experience resulted in wasted time, money, and unnecessary stress.
