Good luck Henni, you can do it!! Surely they must know you have to close if vomiting??? I was closed all last week, couldn't be helped, felt awful but what could I do??

At ds's nursery, they exclude for 24 hrs if Diarreah and 48 hrs if vomiting so surely it's in their kids interests to stay away? Do you think your dd has caught a bug off the poorly mindee?

Henn they have no choice, Health and safety staes that it is 48 hours from last sickeness before you can open again, so play it that way, say you have checked with Ofsted if need be and that YOU WILL NOT BE OPENING.

i wouldn't feel bad about closing - it's in everyones best interests isn't it - and to be selfish i find it bad enough cleaning up my own kids puke if your mindees catch bug you'll find yourself cleaning up after them too - YUCK

Hey.............do you make cakes for selling or just for personal things?

My eyes are killing me and my neck aches! I've done 42 cards since yesterday morning! I've got 8 more to finish, but I've had enough for today. Got kids tomorrow, but with a bit of luck one will sleep and one will do some painting with me! I do sell my cakes, thats one of my big plans to expand from just friends.

Oh.....I'll be asking for your charges etc. Ds's birthday in March and he will be 5 and has never had a party. We planned to do one this year and now baby is on the way, I feel it's even more important that we DO do it this time!
