How do I get DS to adapt to childminder!?

I work from home and he only goes to the childminder for a couple of mornings a week, but we are in week 4 now and he just cries and cries. We've tried more regular sessions of 2 hours but he still gets very upset.

He is 13months. His sister used to go to the same childminder and was fine.

The CM is determined to keep going though I'm sure it's hard work for her! But any tips on how to settle him in? There is another little 18mo boy there too and sometimes a little 2 yo girl so he isn't alone. We have tried bringing his toys from home too...

I think this is quite a hard 'age' to settle. I had a 13 month old little girl recently who was really miserable for the first 3-4 days and cried for most of a 3 hour session. I found the answer was to take her out of the house and let her get used to me out of the home environment, she was absolutely fine in neutral territory and now loves coming here. Keep going, I'm sure you will find a way
