My childminder is FAB!

Just wanted to say how good she is really

She is actually ds's childminder whilst dd is at school. DD was off today ill [my day off anyway] but I don't think she is fit for school tomorrow so I texted ds's childminder & said he wouldn't be going tomorrow as dd is ill & I will be off.

She text me back saying that as it's just for 4 hours she will have sick dd too! Which means I won't miss essential notes on my course!! She will just have ds anyway so dd won't be infecting any other children [sore throat]

She is a star! I know this seems small, but I would have had no-one else to mind dd for me & I really struggle to get notes off others if I miss a class!

So here's a great big clap on the back to all the good childminders out there!!

Nah!

I always take her a bag of home grown potatoes!! She appreciates them more!

Something she may not ever have asked for, but why not try writing a little reference for her. Its something people tend not to ask for apart from on the end of contracts and it can be years before a contract has to end if everything is going well.
No essay needed unless you are good at them, but perhaps just a little note to her thanking her for A, b, and c, to show you care

What a nice idea - OFSTED would be so pleased to see something like that at her next inspection plus it helps when finding new children

The main thing being it would give her i litle glow inside to be appreciated

Agree with Kiddi, that would be a great idea. Will make her feel special. Good for her!
