What do you send your babies to nursery in?

Hi all,

My little girl is due to start nursery in two weeks time. She’s 9 months.
Do you only send them to nursery in clothes so to speak or do you sometimes send them in baby grows ? I feel like for the fast few weeks I’ve been buying buying buying so that I don’t send her in baby grows as I feel like it’s informal ? I don’t know why I have this in my head ! But just wanted other people’s thoughts ?

Thanks x

They get covered in food & messy play stuff so I personally wouldn't bother with nice clothes. After learning from DD1, DD2 goes in a short/long sleeved vest & leggings. It's pretty warm inside so she doesn't need many layers. She has a jumper & puddlesuit for outdoors. I think a sleepsuit would be fine but now DD2 is trying to stand at 10 months they're too slippy so she usually goes barefoot.

DS started nursery at 9mo. He mainly wore baby grows and leggings. Or then tracksuits with a baby grow once it got a bit colder. Don't waste any "nice" clothes on nursery!
