I have 1 mindee who I get paid by from the university, it's been my first month of doing this. Put invoice in early/mid September for the month of Sept just phoned chasing for payment and been told another 3-5 weeks before I get paid. Does anyone know if this with the norm?? I normally work a month in advance but told my them that this is not possible.

Saz - would it be worth asking FIS is they have experience of this stuff in our area? Or is the college under the other local council (presume you know what I mean by that)

When I got paid by a college, I got the payment in advanced for the whole term. I just had to remember that I hadn't earnt all that money yet.

i always received the whole term in one go but it was always late
