can you make a decent living out of childminding?

iv been thinking about doing this so i can stay at home with my dd instead of returning to work in 6 mths. what are the pros and cons etc?

you can make a good wage out of cm if you can get the kids.i have been doing it for 3 years and some weeks are good and some are not.eg they leave to go to school or move away or the parents go on hoilday and pay when they get back. at the moment i am making a wage but just about.
