Sorry guys, nothing to do with CM, but posted on here a few times and need to let off steam!!

My neighbour across the road has just come up to me to let me know that at about 5pm last night she saw a teenager (12-15?) drop his bike outside my dh garage/office then went in to MY car! Had a snoop around and left! He was gone by the time she came out of her house and DH knew nothing of it. When I told him he did say that when he came out of his office last night he did notice the light on in the car because the door wasn't shut properly and the glove box open, but thought nothing of it.

I am SO angry! I hadn't locked my car, obviously. Just one of those times when I forgot after unloading all the kids. I just can't believe it! I live in such a nice part as well.

What are you angry about? The fact that a kid has been in your car or that your neighbour waited until the next day to tell you?

HairyIrene · 05/10/2007 14:26

well you must live in a nice part, as it would have been trashed stolen by joyriders and in the news by now ..if it happened in not a 'nice part'...

you made a mistake, got off lightly imho...
sorry dont get it

Nothing was taken - nothing to take. I'm not angry at my neighbour, she's an elderly lady and it must have shocked her tbh. I'm angry at the cheek of the kid. I know I got off lightly and it was my own stupid fault for leaving the car unlocked, but still feel so angry. Sorry, this hasn't happened to me before, am I wrong to feel angry??!

no one can stop you feeling angry but i would be feeling lucky if i were you, no damage was done or anything stolen..

dont mean it to sound competitive but
i've had my house ransacked whilst i was sunbathing in the garden, still scares me to think of it, but again feel lucky as i did not encounter them

its how you think about it i suppose
