Yes - 25%

Katymac · 04/10/2007 13:38

no - siblings are often more work than individual children they fight/argue more

MaureenMLove · 04/10/2007 13:49

25% here too. I try not to have siblings for that very reason too Katymac!

Anymore??? The 2 sisters I have are 10% off i.e. toddler at normal rate, baby at 10% discount. I'm due to review my fees this month, increase in Jan. I've decided not to put my fees up BUT I was thinking about getting rid of the discount for the very reason that I'm not earning as much as I could PLUS of course it's for THAT family.

I would only give a discount if they were comming for a full day 5 days a week.

nannynick · 04/10/2007 18:42

Not a childminder, but if I was, NO I would not give a discount - they are still taking up a childcare place.
However, as a nanny I get paid regardless of the number of children a family has... this is how nannies can be cheaper than childminders - when a family has many children.

Why have a discount... only thing I can think of is that you are processing only one payment for both children... am I missing something?

Ghostashoshabuster · 04/10/2007 18:50

Def get id of your discount, think you should have stress pay from them as well.

SpooKAYsamuels · 04/10/2007 19:33

No I don't do discounts for siblings, and I definately wouldn't for this family looney!

bloodsuckinglooney · 04/10/2007 23:12

Cheers everyone

I offer only 10% discount on eldest child, its a goodwill type gesture, and its usually the younger child whose money puts food on our plates. also the advantage to siblings is you only have one drop off and pick up so less parents using your valuable time.
