childcare vouchers, general info required please.............

I am awaiting my registration certificate for childminding and thought i'd get ahead by getting registered for soem voucher schemes. But can't get kiddicare ones till i have registration number! doh! so can anyone tell what other ones exist and what do i have to do to get registered? is it easy? thanks

There are loads of schemes but you don't know yet which one (if any) you will be asked to use. Parents can't pick & choose you see, they can only use the scheme their employer has signed up to. So you might sign up with several schemes and all the parents you meet might not be able to use them.

What you could do is contact larger businesses in your area (ie, potential customers who might work nearby but live further away) and find out which voucher schemes they use. Theres a point in joining then, cos you could send posters, ads for their staff room/personnel dept stating you accept xyz vouchers.
