My current Nanny has just been poached by someone living nearer my nanny, paying more and offering less days so I urgently need a new one. Any have any suggestions at all?

What are you looking for?

I know a fantastic qualified (NNEB) nanny with years of expereince. Shes looking for a full time, sole charge position in your area.

With her qualifications& experience shes a higher bracket nanny (top end of pay sale) but she is worth every penny, I assure you. if youre interested post back and I'll send you her details.

Sorry to hear about your nanny leaving for higher pay elsewhere- we are not all like that honest!
If you find the right family to work for, money isnt that important.

I have just accepted a new job after four months of looking. I was made redundant last october and like many others it's been a tough time financially. However it's great news that I am starting a new job next monday but I am struggling to find a child minder for my daughter who is almost 2 years old. Can anyone help me? I live in East Dulwich and need someone to do 4 to 5 days a week. So what's the problem you may ask? It's finding a lovely lady who wouldn't mind working a bit later than 6pm every so often. It's not going to be on a regular basis, just occasionally. I could have waited many more months for those perfect working hoursa mother would love to do but if they don't exist you got to take what's there! So I will be working from 9-5.30. It takes me an hour to get home and most of the time my husband can pick up our daughter around 5.30 to 6. BUT when he can't do the pick up, it's going to be me.....What can I do?
Can anyone help.

Nelsie this is quite an old thread. I suggest you start a new thread with a title tailered to your needs. There's also a list of childminders on here who may be able to help!
